Ford Fiesta 1.4, registered Feb 2006, in excellent condition. Only 5000km – this can be verified with the car’s complete service record. ITV (MOT equivalent) passed and valid until Feb 2012. 2 lady owners. Current owner has had car in possession for less than 2 months with the intention of living in Spain but is selling due to a job opportunity in the UK that has arisen. Previous owner was from Alicante. She was bought the car as a present from her grandparents but shortly after she began to work in Madrid and so the car was kept in the garage at her parents’ home and only used on her trips home to see the family. 1969 Mercedes Benz 280 SL Roadster, the 280 SL was produced from 1968 to 1971 and is the most popular SL on the classic car market. Nicknamed the Pagoda due to the shape of the hardtop roof line. In 1969 approximately 8,047 Mercedes Benz 280 SL were produced.

This is a rare and striking original color combination of Arabian Gray and Mulberry leather. 128,000 original miles, never driven in winter, always garaged, well maintained. There have been three owners, the current owner having meticulously maintained it for the last 20 years.

No rust, body very good but not perfect, mechanically excellent. The only changes made to the car over the years have been for the better. The needlessly high gear ratio has been changed from 3.96 to 3.56 for a drop of 800 rpm at 70mph. Electronic ignition is now in place, and the hi/low beam is now located on the directional stalk. The original radio has been replaced but intact.

Original bill of sale, owners manual, tool kit, hardtop and storage rack, spare tire all included. Even the soft top is original, but needs to be replaced. All service records back to 1987 are available.

The 4 speed manual transmission and lack of air conditioning makes this a coveted driver. Car runs beautifully and is ready for the road. The Mercedes Benz 280 SL has proven investment potential and portrays the perfect example of being able to drive your classic while gaining equity.
